Use of the website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, and not to:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate anyone.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers or any connected system.
• Introduce viruses, malicious code or anything designed to disrupt the website.
• Scrape, copy or harvest content, photographs or contact information for commercial use.
• Interfere with anyone else’s use of the website.

Estimates, consultations and project information

Submitting a form or requesting an estimate does not create a construction contract, guarantee our availability, guarantee pricing, or obligate Summit Design Contractors LLC to perform any work.

Any figure we give before we have seen the property is preliminary. Remodeling costs depend on what we find once walls, floors and ceilings are open: existing structure, plumbing, electrical and moisture conditions, code requirements, permit and inspection requirements, engineering, the materials and finishes you choose, and access to the work area all change the number. Estimates are non-binding until confirmed in a written proposal signed by both of us, and remain subject to change if conditions discovered on site differ from what was described.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us about the property, including photographs, measurements, plans and any prior work. Inaccurate information changes the price and the schedule.

Appointments and communications

Please give us accurate contact information and let us know as early as you can if you need to reschedule a consultation or site visit. By providing your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your project by phone, text message or email.

Text messaging terms

We send two kinds of text messages: transactional messages about an active project, such as appointment confirmations, schedule updates and follow-ups, and, if you have asked for them, occasional marketing messages.

Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information in those messages.

Website content

The content on this website is provided for general information and marketing. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or omissions, and we may change it at any time. Photos, descriptions of past projects, timelines and results are examples: every home and every project is different, and yours may not match them.

No professional advice through the website

Nothing on this website is structural, engineering, design or building-code advice for your specific property, and nothing here should be relied on as a substitute for a site visit, engineering or design review, permit review, written scope or signed agreement. When you send us project information, plans or photographs, you confirm that you are entitled to share them, and you give us permission to use them to evaluate, price and perform the work, and to keep them in our business records. How we handle that information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Registration, permits and inspections

We are a licensed and insured contractor, and we pull permits and schedule inspections where the work requires them. Permit fees, plan review and inspection timing are set by the local building department, not by us, and we cannot guarantee how long they will take.

Warranty

Warranty terms for a project, including what is covered, for how long and what is excluded, are stated in that project’s written agreement. Manufacturer warranties on fixtures, appliances and materials we install belong to the manufacturer and are subject to its own terms. Nothing on this website extends, replaces or adds to a written warranty.

Disclaimers

The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. This section applies to the website, and does not limit any warranty we give you in writing for work we perform.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summit Design Contractors LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website, and our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us directly for use of the website. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.

Indemnification
